About Us

A long time West Coast resident and descendant of Louisa May Alcott, Arabella May Biddle is a graduate of the University of British Columbia and the British Columbia Institute of Technology.

Influenced by the world-acclaimed Butcharts Gardens as well as the numerous outstanding horticultural societies and gardens in British Columbia, Washington State, Oregon, California and Arizona, Ms. Biddle continued her garden research in Mexico, New England and Ontario with a special emphasis on organic gardening.

The opportunity came to investigate further in Europe and the United Kingdom, and working and experimenting in gardens and allotments over several years resulted in the inspiration for the Easy Guide to Organic Gardening.

Arabella May Biddle is also the co-author of Easy Gardening with The Cheap Lazy Gardener, acclaimed by UK celebrity Jilly Cooper, international star Donna Carroll White and US Boston Masterchef Lou Greenstein, among loads of other delighted fans and happy readers.
